  15. Europe there are literally millions of people without
  16. proper keyboards. Many systems, especially in Germany
  17. and Scandanavia have a whole range of demented characters, 
  18. with the result that normal characters (for instance '{'
  19. and '@' } are missing from their keyboards.

  22. where they must use these wretched trigraphs.
